In most instances, gas will be a cheaper option and is readily available.

AA GAS delivers within a 60km radius of Howick Offices.
Our delivery days are area-specific. Please contact us to arrange your delivery.
Should you require that we attach the new gas cylinder, our delivery crew will gladly assist.
We offer pensioners specials:
Tuesdays and Thursdays within the Howick area.
Wednesdays within the Pietermaritzburg and Hilton area.

Gas Geysers should be serviced every 18 – 24 months, depending on the water quality, usage and climate.
Your gas stove and hob should be serviced every 24 months.
Our technical workshop will inspect your cylinder and advise if it can be repaired. However our recommendation is to opt in to the exchange cylinder offer. Contact us for further information.

Emergency Questions
Should you encounter a problem with your Gas Geyser or lose hot water, the following steps should be taken.
- Check that the gas has not run out.
- Check that all valves are open
- Check that the water pressure has not dropped in the area
- Check your shower head, if applicable, for debris.
- If the unit is battery operated – check the batteries and contacts.
- Certain units have water filters and can become clogged. Check the filters
If the above does not solve the problem, please contact us on.
The great aspect of gas is that it has a distinct odour and is detectable. If you suspect there is a leak, close all cylinders and contact us.
Gas cylinders are one of the safest containers. Subject to stringent standards and inspections.
